Ektishaaf

The word Ektishaaf is Arabic term we use for discovery. For us at Iqra school, Ektishaaf focuses on promoting learning through discovery. This can be through new experiences, developmental and experimental activities such as new games, new learning concepts, or being involved in new and challenging learning activities.     

 

Ektishaaf occurs during term 2 – 4 and on a Friday.  

 

Through Ektishaaf, teachers are incorporating concepts such as problem solving, developing resilience, new learning, language development, growth mindset, and growing technological capabilities in our young people.
